We LOVE Reading

At Woodthorpe Infant School we want all our children to LOVE reading. A love of reading comes from sharing great stories with special people, at home and at school. We would like your help in creating a school bank of favourite stories to share with the children, that will be kept in the library area in each classroom.

 

All the staff have been asked to nominate their favourite texts, which will be purchased and shared out between the classes, each with a message to tell the children why they love this story so much. We would also like to include some texts that have been recommended by parents. Please could you comment on the post in our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/WoodthorpeInfantSchool/) with your favourite text that you love reading with your child. The most popular texts will be purchased and added to our collections.
