Come and meet our Sports Ambassadors! They are responsible for setting up and leading exciting games and activities at playtime and showing us that we can have a lot of fun when we are being active.

March 2025

Our fabulous sports leaders met to review their playtime activities. They identified that whilst they love the participation from the children that are joining in with their activities, they would like to mix up where they set the activities up so that more children can see them. They were also set a
a challenge to try and get 15 children involved n their next activity. We cannot wait to see how they get on!

They also discussed that sometimes, at shorter afternoon playtimes, they do not have as much time to lead full games. With this in mind, we shared out some "no equipment cards". Each of these cards has a game that does not involve any equipment so that more time can be spent playing and engaging in sports.

November 2024

We met to check in with each other and discussed how we have all been mixing up the activities that we lead to keep them fun and fresh. We spoke about how it is important to make sure lots of children join in our games, not just our closest friends, and we agreed to walk around the playground at the start of playtime to let people know which activity we are leading and encourage them to join in.

As we approach the end of our first term, we also shared why we like being a sports ambassador. Here's what we said:
