School Ambassadors

Meet our School Ambassadors 2024-25

March 2025

We met to review the attendance reward system that was introduced last term.  The class and school ambassadors decided that they would like to extend the range to include 98%.  They voted using democracy to choose when this new range should start and it was a unanimous decision that we should start this with immediate effect.

We have also met to review how OPAL is working.  The children said that they loved OPAL but felt that the children needed to be reminded of the following:

  • risk benefits of equipment
  • sharing
  • not using water in the mud kitchen
  • taking turns on the scooters
  • all children should be helping to tidy up at the end of lunch time

Mrs Mitchell and the ambassadors will be speaking to the school about their concerns at the next OPAL assembly.

December 2024

We discussed how important it is to be a School Ambassador and that we should set a good example around school.

Our School Ambassadors are going to play a vital role with driving forward the school's vision and values as well as those of British Values and Protected Characteristics.

We also spoke about how important it is to share with visitors, our school's vision and values.

"I like being a School Ambassador because...

"...I like meeting new people and talking to them about British Values and Protected Characteristics."

"...I like introducing people to our school and talking to them about how we are kind, brave and happy."
