  We are delighted to welcome our 2021 intake to Woodthorpe Infant School. We are looking forward to getting to know all of you, and we hope you enjoy being part of our school community. In the next couple of weeks, you will receive an information pack from school providing some details about us, and requesting some from you. Please follow the link here let us know a bit more about your child, their friendships and interests (the link is also provided in your welcome letter). Sarah Tyler, our Foundation lead, will also be contacting nurseries to find out more information about your child, so please make sure that nursery staff know that your child will be moving to Woodthorpe Infant School.

• Egg-cellent Fun!

  What a week it has been at Woodthorpe Infant School!

   

  The egg-cellent egg rolling event on Monday was a huge hit and the children had such a wonderful time. The effort that went in was fantastic and made the day what it was.

   

  Each class had a ‘bet dressed egg’ winner as well as an egg rolling winner, with the egg rolling winners from each class having a ‘roll off’ to decide on a school champion. A list of the winners is below:

   

  Class 1 best dressed egg: Jessie

  Class 1 egg rolling: Lucas

  Class 2 best dressed egg: Teddy

  Class 2 egg rolling: Isaac

  Class 3 best dressed egg: Eva

  Class 3 egg rolling: Jacob H

  Class 4 best dressed egg: Noah

  Class 4 egg rolling: Joseph

  Class 5 best dressed egg: Evie

  Class 5 egg rolling: Oliver

  Class 6 best dressed egg: Sienna

  Class 6 egg rolling: Louie P

  Overall egg rolling winner: Oliver (Class 5)
