  • End of Another Year!

Fri 24 Jul 2020 Mr Hopkinson

What a year we have had! In the autumn term, which seems such a long time ago, none of us could have imagined the events that were to come. Despite the challenges this has brought to all of us, everyone’s kindness, bravery and happiness have really shone through.

As we come to the end of this academic year, I hope you all have the opportunity to take a moment to reflect on these past few months and realise what an amazing job you have done. Have a great summer and I look forward to seeing you in September!
  • Pebble Pathway

Fri 24 Jul 2020 Mr Hopkinson

I am delighted to say our pebble pathway is now up and running. The children and staff have been working very hard on it over the past couple of months and I am very grateful for everybody's contribution to it. A big thank you to Miss Gill who has been the driving force behind its organisation! Please feel free to continue to add to it. If you don't have varnish available at home, we are more than happy to do this for you. Just drop your pebbles off at school when we return in September and we can add it to the pathway.

We will continue to add to the pathway through different activities in school and each year with our new Foundation 2 children.

  • Gardening News

Tue 14 Jul 2020 Mr Hopkinson

Once more, we have taken part in Arnold in Bloom. Unfortunately, it has not been able to run in the usual way. There has been no judging, but we have been given a kind donation to enable us to make our school look bright and cheerful and also get the rose that the Garden Gang wanted last year! We have also recycled two benches to make a quiet seating area for the garden where we are also growing vegetables.
