Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
In our final week of Science Tots, the children investigated different weathers. The children made a rain cloud by covering a cup of water with shaving foam and then adding food colouring. Then, the children observed how the colour moved through the foam. Next, they made some rainbows with different liquids that don’t mix so the colours stayed in place. Then, the children experimented with a tornado bottle. Finally, the children experienced the sound in a thunderstorm with a thunder drum and lightening with a plasma ball. The children had another fantastic session!
This week at Science Tots the children were investigating solids, liquids and gases. The children started the session with having an ice cube each and during the session they observed what changes occurred. During the session the children used different liquids and they discovered that not all liquids mix. The highlight of the session was making slime.
