Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
This week at science tots the children were having fun with Physics. The children started the session with investigating magnets and air pressure. Later in the session the children used their knowledge to raise water to the top of a container by just using stones (water displacement). They learnt that there was more movement from the water when the stone was larger. Finally, the children had a competition to build an unsupported tower. Lots of reciprocity was used!
Key stage 1 Science club started today. The children really enjoyed using their five senses to do a variety of activities. They made some rattles out of different materials and experimented to see which material would make the most noise. The highlight was making their own sherbet and then tasting it.
