Eco Ambassadors
Meet our Eco Ambassadors 2025-26

Our Eco ambassadors met and discussed our school Eco poster and the things we need to do around school.
They said that it was their job to:
- make sure lights are turned off when leaving a room or to remind the teachers to turn them off
- reuse paper and put waste in the correct bins in our classrooms
- put empty pens into the recycling buckets provided in each classroom
When the children were asked..."What do we mean by Eco?" they responded with…
- “Looking after our planet.”
- “Recycling.”
- “Making things grow.”
- “Getting rid of litter.”
The children have set up a rota so that they know when to:
- take out the compost bucket and place this under the yellow waste bin at the top of the playground
- take out the litter pickers to pick up rubbish in the playground
- throw waste in the compost bucket
Our F2 Eco ambassadors said that it was their job to:
- turn off lights in the classroom
- put the fruit waste in our wormery
- put any used pens into the green caddy
- use the blue recycling bin for waste paper
