This half term, the Eco ambassadors have decided on a new Eco Code, to ensure that we are looking after our school.  The children have asked their peers, their thoughts on the new posters and they have now decided that our poster will include images of the codes we need to follow, so that it is easy for everyone to understand.  Our 4 Eco codes are:

1. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle as much as possible.
2. Compost any fruit waste.
3. Turn off lights and electrical devices when we leave a room.
4. Turn off taps, so we don't waste water.

Our Eco ambassadors have been out on the playground litter picking.  Each day they can take out litter pickers and the compost bucket for children to throw their fruit and vegetable waste away.

Our Eco Ambassadors went on a litter pick around the school playground.  They also collected the old pens for recycling and talked about using the fruit bucket to collect fruit waste for composting in the playground.  They then went back to remind their classes of the WIS Eco Code.
