  • School Improvement

The School Improvement Plan (SIP) is the document which drives ongoing improvements and developments in our school.  The Governing Body is responsible for evaluating the progress made against the plan and has an approved process in place for regular and effective monitoring.

The following priorities have been identified as the overarching areas for improvement for the 2026-27 academic year:

    • Priority 1: To review and refine the quality of handwriting for all pupils.
    • Priority 2: To strengthen and embed a whole-school approach to classroom learning protocols, ensuring consistently high-quality, evidence-informed teaching that maximises pupil engagement, deepens learning and improves outcomes for all children.
    • Priority 3: To provide every child with consistent, high-quality interactions that are responsive, nurturing and developmentally appropriate.

From these, the school develops a more detailed SIP which outlines how these will be achieved alongside other areas for improvement.
