The PTA – Who are we and what do we do:
We are a group of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to make the school a better environment for all our children.
Our aim is simple, it is to support the school by raising money to enhance, enrich and improve the learning experiences for all pupils.
We are more commonly known by the name FOWI, which stands for Friends of Woodthorpe Infants.
In the 2022/23 academic year we have raised money through larger events such as School Discos, Summer, and Christmas fairs with several smaller fund-raising activities across the year such as non-uniform days and competitions that all children can get involved in.
This academic year alone the PTA have contributed just over £7,500 towards the school.

Our first PTA meeting of the year will be held on Thursday 28th September 18:00-19:30 at school, and, like all our meetings, an open-door policy is in place - so if you’re intrigued and want to see what we’re all about then please do come along.
